All and Nothing explores the intricate life of the late conceptual artist Li Yuan-chia, tracing his journey from wartime China to Taiwan, 1950s Milan and Bologna, and Swinging Sixties London, culminating in the establishment of the L.Y.C. Museum & Gallery in rural Cumbria in 1971. The film captures the essence of Li as both a journeyman and an artist.

Liao I-ling grew up in a working-class family. She has worked as a producer and director since 2003. Her work focuses on the relationships between people and culture, particularly as they are shaped by hierarchy, poverty and social systems. Her storytelling is characterised by a philosophical and allegorical quality.

Chu Po-ying graduated from the Graduate Institute of Applied Media Studies at the National Taiwan University of Arts in Taiwan. He has a particular talent for capturing the language of hyperreality in everyday life. As a director and cinematographer, he believes it is important to maintain a rational and perceptive observation of real-life situations while remaining sensitive to the subtle, often invisible aspects of both his subjects and their social circumstances. He seeks to transform these invisible elements into narrative images, conveying the experiences and emotions of his subjects through hyperreality or magical realism.

Their first documentary film, The Weight of Life, won the Merit Award at the 2013 Golden Harvest Awards. It was also shortlisted for Best Documentary Film at the Taipei Film Festival and selected for the Asian Vision Competition at the Taiwan International Documentary Festival in 2014.
