Pathways 2026: Primordial Filth
5 - 28 March
Launch Event: 5 March, 6-8pm
Presented by Bloc Projects
We are thrilled to introduce our new Bloc Projects Key Strand Pathways, a development programme for early-career artists based in South Yorkshire. We offer holistic and practical support for artists to take their next step professionally, which includes mentorship sessions, research trips and a 2-week artist residency at Bloc Projects, culminating with a 4-week public-facing exhibition or event series.
This year’s invited artists are all 2025 BFA/MFA graduates of Sheffield Hallam University: Mia Colman, Jim Ever, Jack Mackness and Ava Ord. The multi-media group exhibition Primordial Filth is the culmination point of their time together, exploring the sedimentary decay of geology and industry.
