Visual artist and graphic designer Andy Welland’s language is one of positivity, where bright playful collages and shapes collide. A remix of form, his abstract compositions are created from repurposed off-cuts, thoughts, sound and movement. The work is a celebration of what it is to be human as we navigate and make sense of this chaotic world together.

Brighter in Real Life is a collection of large-scale artworks in his signature Loose Ends collage language; think giant Plasticine reliefs in bright candy-colours, lipstick-thick oil finger-paintings, energetic neon and further works all presented in a collision of form, maximum colour and energy.

Andy Welland is a visual artist and graphic designer. His artwork encourages us to slow down and delights in detail. The collision of graphic design, art, technology and making generates a new visual language in which togetherness is celebrated. In his words, “We are all made up of hard and soft lines, feelings and energy. My painted spots aren’t perfect spots but they are my spots. A recording of my movement that day and my style, drips, wobbles and all.”
